FOXBORO -- A few notes to wrap up the day including the cuts to get down to 71.
Cut:
PR Chad Morton, WR Jason Anderson, PK Robbie Gould, OG Ryan Krug, DL Ifo Pili, CB Hank Poteat and DL Santonio Thomas.
Morton never got on the field. Poteat was facing an uphill battle in a deep secondary. Anderson - a young prospect with decent size - seemed to be a pretty good player but there are just sooo many receivers in camp it's not a surprise.
Two guys who got cut elsewhere who caught the eye: former Bengals wide receiver Danny Farmer and former Patriots offensive lineman Grant Williams.
Finally, Matt Light was presented with the Ron Burton Award tonight for his outstanding charitable work over the past year.
No access tomorrow. If anything breaks, we'll add it. Otherwise, we're up to our eyeballs in Patriots Preview section stuff.
