An article in the Dayton Daily News today quoted the father of Patriots tackle Matt Light as saying his son's injury was not serious.
"The only thing I can tell you is that it's really not serious," Bill Light told the paper from Greenville, Ohio. "He'll probably miss a preseason game or something, but other than that, it's fine. The reason they don't release (injury information) is because that becomes an instant target."
The Patriots will practice today and have a walkthrough tomorrow before traveling to Green Bay for Friday's game with the Packers.

Also, we're trying to track down whether or not the Patriots are interested in former Kansas City linebacker Mike Maslowski who was released. The 31-year-old Maslowski is a favorite of the Patriots who tried to sign him as a restricted free agent in 2002 (KC matched) and planned to pursue him in free agency the next year before Maslowski re-signed with Kansas City.
I'm off from live coverage at the stadium today but will check in if anything "newsy" comes my way.
