Hey all --

I can't really call it "practice peek" today because we got a little bit longer than usual out there today.

First off, Ellis Hobbs and Nick Kaczur were not spotted on the field while we were out there. Hobbs broke the scaphoid bone in his left wrist against Denver and underwent surgery last Wednesday; in the locker room today he said he was hoping to practice, but that does not appear to be the case.

Kaczur has been listed as questionable all season with a shoulder injury but played Sunday against the Bengals.

The new guys, Chidi Iwuoma and Sean Bubin, were on the field, and when the team broke into groups, Iwuoma was immediately witht the special teamers (he was a special teams captain with the Steelers).

Team owner Robert Kraft was out at practice today and chatted with Bill Belichick for a bit.
