Tully Banta-Cain Jr. was born sometime Monday, while his dad was nearly 1,400 miles away in Minneapolis.

The Patriots linebacker was seen leaving the Metrodome after the game last night with team owner Robert Kraft and president Jonathan Kraft, presumably to fly back to New England with them and be with his new son and girlfriend Bridget Hernandez as quickly as possible.

Hernandez, a Rhode Island native, had a due date of late last week.
