In regards to the people that are clamoring about Bill Bellichick and the Patriots running up the scores on their opponents: Nobody took coach George Halas to task when his Chicago Bears defeated the Washington Redskins 73-0 in the NFL Championship Game in 1940.
Hi Dave! It seems that only the Patriots are wrong when it comes to running up the score...so many teams have done it over the years, and even people who were part of teams that did that (hi, Steve Young!) are complaining about New England. Go figure... - shalise
