The Patriots included two veterans -- fullback Kyle Eckel and cornerback Jason Webster -- among their five cuts, which were announced moments ago. They also placed offensive lineman Stephen Neal on the reserve/physically unable to perform list because of a shoulder injury, and offensive tackle Ryan O'Callaghan on the reserve/injured list because of a shoulder injury.

The other player who was cut was rookie offensive lineman Ryan Wendell.
