In trying to get all of my Patriots' roster work done yesterday, I neglected to mention that East Providence's own Jamie Silva had secured himself a spot on the Indianapolis Colts' 53-man roster to open the season.

Silva went undrafted earlier this year, which he was disappointed about, but landed with a team that gets the most from undersized defensive backs.

Also, former Hendricken standout Matt Sherry was placed on injured reserve by the Bengals with a shoulder injury.
