Ten of the Patriots' projected starting 11 on defense tonight, with only Adalius Thomas (wrist) missing time. Pierre Woods started in his place at outside linebacker.

Bill Belichick can't be too pleased with what he saw from his top unit either: for the fourth time in four games, they gave up a touchdown on the opponent's opening drive. Tonight's was especially ugly, with receiver Darcy Johnson going through the knee-level block, then pushed Fernando Bryant backwards the last five to seven yards into the end zone.

Minus Tom Brady, the regular offense was out there as well, including LT Matt Light, who returned to practice this week. Matt Cassel started the game at quarterback.
