The Patriots are holding practice today and tomorrow to fine-tune and work on deficiencies on their own team. Today they are on the upper practice field, where they generally are for training camp, and in full pads.

As for who was and wasn't out there, there five players not spotted:

WR Kelley Washington
CB Lewis Sanders
S Rodney Harrison
T Mark LeVoir
DL Le Kevin Smith

Ellis Hobbs walked off the field and back toward the locker room as the reporters were arriving for media access, and was coming back onto the field as we were leaving.

Washington (ankle) walked through the locker room today wearing a walking boot on his right foot/ankle.
