Santaluces Community High School will retire Vince Wilfork's number 75 jersey in a ceremony on Friday night.

As we were being kicked out of the locker room, we mentioned it to Wilfork and he said it should be a "pretty cool" experience; the defensive lineman and his family will be on hand for the game in Lantana, Fla., just outside Miami.

Wilfork was a USA Today second-team high school All-American at Santaluces. He was also an excellent shot putter, setting a state record with a 68-foot throw.
