Michael Silver of Yahoo! Sports is reporting that Tom Brady will miss the rest of the season. Citing a Patriots' team source, Silver also says Brady has an ACL tear in his left knee. "It's bad," the source said. "We're going to have to play without him." CommentsLeave a comment |
Is it career threatening as well?

WHO CARES!
Troops serving this country are getting REAL injuries and in some cases giving their LIVES in Iraq and I'm supposed to care about some millionare who has a sore knee? Glad the PROJO has its priorities in order.

J-DOG -- No one is suggesting in any way, shape, or form, that Brady's potential knee injury is on a par with the dangers our servicemen and women face every day overseas. This is a blog about the Patriots. Tom Brady, their franchise quarterback and the reigning MVP of the NFL, is potentially out for the season. That's big Patriots news, and is posted on a Patriots blog/news site. -- smy

irandal -- Unfortunately, at this point it's not just Yahoo. WEEI's Ron Borges, NBC/SI's Peter King and ESPN are all reporting the ACL tear. I have been trying like mad to get confirmation from my sources, and as yet have no answer. We are just trying to keep our readers informed on the information that's out there. -- smy
