In an interview with good friend Albert Breer of Sporting News, Bill Belichick said today that there is no friction between the team and quarterback Tom Brady over his choice of surgeon for his left knee reconstruction.

"I've been in communication with Tom on a regular basis, as has the organization and the medical people," Belichick told SN. "Yes, we stand behind him 100 percent."

Asked about the concern for Brady's condition -- he is battling an infection in the repair site -- Belichick said the statement the team released last night covers the organization's feelings.
