SAN FRANCISCO -- Matt Cassel and Randy Moss hooked up for their first long touchdown play of the season -- a 66-yard bomb in which Moss was able to get behind the San Francisco secondary -- Kevin Faulk ran for a pair of scores and Stephen Gostkowski kicked three field goals, including a season-high 49-yarder, as the Patriots rebounded from their embarrassing loss to the Dolphins two weeks ago with a solid 30-21 win over the 49ers today.

Gostkowski is 10-for-10 on his field-goal attempts this year and has made 17 regular-season kicks in a row, going back to last year.

More to come . . .
