SAN FRANCISCO -- Patriots kicker Stephen Gostkowski continues to be outstanding, nailing a 40-yard field goal in the opening seconds of the fourth quarter that was his second of the game, and ninth of the season, without a miss. He also hit a 35-yarder in the second quarter. Going back to last year, he has made 16 straight.

In addition, he has been booming his kickoffs, booting three that the Niners did not return, instead opting for touchbacks.
