So hopefully this is our last entry on Al Davis' claim that the Patriots tampered with Randy Moss before last year's trade.
We emailed NFL spokesman Greg Aiello today and asked if the Raiders ever filed charges with the league. Because, really, if Davis believes that the Pats tampered, surely he would have asked the league office to look into it 17 months ago when the trade went down, right?
You would think, but this is Al Davis.
Writes Aiello: "No tampering charges have ever been filed with our office with respect to Randy Moss."
So he thinks they tampered, he clearly has an issue with New England, and yet he didn't file anything with the NFL. Makes sense...
