SAN DIEGO -- After the Patriots failed to score on four downs from the 1, it took the Chargers just five plays to drive 98 yards to a touchdown on their first possession of the second half.

New England, instead of trailing only 17-3, finds itself behind 24-3 with 7:07 left in the third quarter.
