Hey all --

Randy Moss took a few minutes today to chat with reporters, which was a pleasant surprise -- though he doesn't really like doing it, Moss is always thoughtful and candid with his answers when he does get in front of the microphones.

Oakland owner/resident crazy guy Al Davis mentioned yesterday during his lengthy media appearance that he felt New England tampered with Moss before the trade that brought the receiver to the Pats last year; Moss said, "Nah. Not at all," when asked if he had any thoughts on Davis' comments. Bill Belichick had no comment either, giving a wry smile when it was brought up during his press conference before saying, "right now we're just focused on the 49ers."

Asked about his confidence in Matt Cassel, Moss said the most important thing is for the quarterback to believe in himself and then "it'll trickle down to the whole offense."

Also in the locker room today, Rodney Harrison, Mike Vrabel, Vince Wilfork and Ellis Hobbs all drew large crowds.

We'll be back shortly with a practice update.
