The Patriots are inside the Dana-Farber Fieldhouse for practice today, and the good news is that RB LaMont Jordan returned to the field. He was injured against San Francisco and then suffered a setback last Wednesday which delayed his return from a calf injury.

The team is once again in shells (light shoulder pads), likely because of the high number of injuries being dealt with; having players in full pads only invites more trouble.

As for who isn't out there, there were four players not spotted:

RB Sammy Morris
CB Ellis Hobbs
CB Lewis Sanders
LB Shawn Crable

And there were five players in black as practice players of the week: LB Pierre Woods, WR/DB Ray Ventrone, LB Vince Redd, CB Terrence Wheatley and T Mark LeVoir.
