| Monday locker room look: Quick turnaround, dealing without AD »
ESPN.com, quoting unnamed sources, is reporting that Patriots linebacker Adalius Thomas has a broken left forearm and likely will miss the rest of the season. The Patriots have not commented on the report. Coach Bill Belichick is not scheduled to speak to the media today, and players will not be available until mid-afternoon. Thomas left yesterday's game against Buffalo in the first quarter with what was described as an arm injury, and it was announced at the time that his return to the game was "questionable." Thomas not only never returned to the game, he never returned to the bench area. He was not seen in the locker room after the game. Journal sports writer Shalise Manza Young spoke to Pats defensive lineman Richard Seymour after the game and Seymour -- while saying he didn't "want to speculate" -- spoke pessimistically about Thomas. "He didn't come back to the game, which is never a good thing," Seymour said. "It's a big thing for us if he can't get out there." |
