| Football Today -- Cassel sets a high price, NFL union boss predicts lockout »
Click the play button below to see and hear the latest edition of projo PatsTalk with Shalise Manza Young. Today we talk about the sense that the Patriots let another win get away, Matt Cassel's breakthrough, and a potential "must-win" coming up next weekend at Miami. Here's what Shalise said when I asked her if there was a sense of lost opportunity in the locker room after last night's game: "Oh yeah, absolutely. Guys were hanging their heads, it was really quiet in there. It usually is after a loss, but this is their rival, first place in the AFC East was on the line, and the defense once again gave up the long drive for the game-winning field goal. They [also] gave up that long drive for the Jets to go ahead 31-24 in the fourth quarter. And the offense -- the offense did its part, but it was a little bit sloppy. Benjamin Watson fumbled away the ball [to kill a drive in the third quarter]. But definitely, a feeling that they let one slip away again, as they did two weeks ago against the Colts." |
