When Joey Porter said before this season's first Patriots-Dolphins meeting that beating New England with Matt Cassel at quarterback would not be "too hard," a lot of folks rolled their eyes. Then Porter went out and had a tremendous ball game as the Dolphins routed the Pats. Now, with his Miami team riding a four-game winning streak and tied with New England for second place, Porter is at it again -- and he's calling out the entire New England team, over the way they treated the Dolphins during last season's meeting in Foxboro: "We played them up there last year and they were up by 21 and they was running run plays with a minute left. They could've kneed the ball. We couldn't win the game. They was up by 21. So I really don't care how they feel or what they're getting ready for. Doesn't really matter to me." Porter has a lot more to say in his interview with ESPN's Tim Graham, but it can be summarized like this: Joey doesn't forget slights, and Joey doesn't like the Patriots. At all. |
