| Pats-Dolphins in-game: Back-to-back big days for Cassel and the New England offense »
MIAMI -- The Cassel-to-Moss combination continues to be unstoppable, as the Pats, having seen their 10-point lead cut to 3, responded with an 80-yard TD drive in 9 plays. The TD came on a perfectly-thrown, 29-yard pass from Matt Cassel to Randy Moss -- their third scoring hookup of the afternoon. The Patriots now lead, 38-28, with less than 9 minutes to play. Can the New England defense wrap this up? The answer would seem to be "Yes!" On Miami QB Chad Pennington's first pass following the ensuing kickoff, he was intercepted by Brandon Meriweather, who returned it 19 yards to the Dolphins' 18. |
