| Pats 48, Dolphins 28: Quick comments from Matt Cassel »
A couple of weeks ago, after his meeting with NFL commissioner Roger Goodell about his repeated unsportsmanlike actions after the whistle, Vince Wilfork vowed that he had learned his lesson. He just proved that he indeed has. As Matt Light was pounding on the head of Channing Crowder after Stephen Gostkowski's 30-yard field goal, earning himself a game ejection (Crowder was ejected as well), and the other Patriots and Dolphins were pushing one another around, Wilfork stood about 10 yards away from the action, with his arms folded over his chest. It was comical, and Wilfork was clearly trying to send the message that he wasn't about to get involved -- Goodell told him that his next fine would also be accompanied by a suspension. |
