INDIANAPOLIS -- When Kevin Faulk was stopped just short of the goal line, that was the first time this season that the Patriots have attempted a 2-point conversion.

They were 1-for-1 last season and 2-for-2 in 2006, after converting just 1 of 4 in 2005.
