It was a short day for media here at Gillette Stadium, as only Bill Belichick and Matt Cassel met with media in the workroom. One of the topics that got a lot of attention is that the Jets are the first team to see Cassel twice -- his first career start was in Week 2 in New York -- but Belichick said that both teams have changed since then and the Jets, like the Pats, are a game-planning team, meaning that some things they did against New England eight weeks ago might not be used again tomorrow night. Cassel talked about having Tom Brady back around Gillette; he said Brady has not been attending meetings, but is still giving out advice to not just himself but other teammates as well. New England is practicing today, but there was no media access. We will post the practice report when it comes out. |
