Hey all --
Welcome to Gillette Stadium, where the Patriots will host their AFC East rivals from Buffalo at 1 o'clock.
Today the Patriots will honor war veterans before the game, as the Kraft family has chosen a wounded veteran from the Boston area and one from the Buffalo area to serve as honorary captains. Pfc. Sean Bannon of Winthrop, Mass. and Sgt. James Hackemer from Gowanda, N.Y., both of whom were injured in Iraq, and are rehabilitating at Spaulding Rehabilitation Center in Boston, were the men selected.
New England has beat the Bills nine straight times, and Buffalo has not won in Foxboro since Nov. 5, 2000, meaning it has not yet claimed a victory at Gillette Stadium.
We'll have more as the morning progresses.
