An Odds Oddity on Wild-Card Weekend

If you're the sort of sports investor who likes home underdogs, then you're going to love Wild Card Weekend.

All four wild-card teams are favored over the homestanding division champions on the opening weekend of the NFL playoffs.

On Saturday, the Falcons are favored by 2 over the NFC West champion Cardinals in Arizona and the Colts are favored by 1 over the AFC West champion Chargers in San Diego.

On Sunday, the Ravens are favored by 3 over the AFC East champion Dolphins in Miami while the Eagles also are favored by 3 over the NFC North champion Vikings in Minnesota.

The Falcons finished behind Carolina in the NFC South, Philadelphia was runnerup to the defending Super Bowl champion Giants in the NFC East, the Colts were second in the AFC South, behind Tennessee, while the Ravens were second in the AFC North, behind the Steelers.
