Through 14 games as the Patriots' primary quarterback (we include Week 1, when he did not start but entered the game in the first quarter for the injured Tom Brady), Matt Cassel has thrown for more yards, the same number of touchdowns and one fewer interception than Tom Brady did in his first 14 games as New England starter. Cassel has also compiled a slightly higher quarterback rating through his first 14 games than Brady: 87.1 to 87.0. The one stat where Brady's first 14 starts were much more successful is wins and losses -- Brady was 11-3 after 14 games, while Cassel is 9-5. Click here to see a full statistical comparison.

ONE SEASON DOES NOT A CAREER MAKE.
LET'S SEE IF MATT CAN HAVE CONTINUED SUCCESS
FOR SIX OR SEVEN SEASONS.........AS BRADY HAS.
MATT IS A VERY GOOD QB, I HOPE HE CAN KEEP
ON PUTTING UP GOOD NUMBERS. ITS UNFORTUNATE THAT
THE PATS CAN'T AFFORD TO KEEP TWO QBS!!
