Patriots fans really would like to see the Cowboys defend their home turf against the Baltimore Ravens tonight. Unfortunately, Baltimore is proving not only tougher, but better coached, than Dallas.

The Ravens have extended their lead to 16-7, after extending a drive with a daring and successful fake field-goal call. Derek Mason's 13-yard touchdown catch in the corner of the end zone, after Joe Flacco threw with no pressure from the Dallas defense, capped a 63-yard drive that was extended when punter and kick holder Sam Koch took the snap on a fourth down and ran nine yards for a first down.

The Ravens nearly gave the ball up earlier in the drive on a Le'Ron McClain fumble, but the ball trickled through the hands of the Cowboys' Ken Hamlin and was recovered by Mason.

The Cowboys' offense, which has been stymied by the Ravens defense so far, has just a little over a quarter to make up a nine-point deficit.
