Linebacker Rosevelt Colvin has signed a one-year deal to return to the New England Patriots, according to league sources quoted by The Boston Globe. Colvin, a Patriot from 2003 to 2007, was released by the team before the start of the season. He was signed by the Houston Texans but then cut before the start of the regular season.
Colvin will fill the roster spot vacated by defensive back Jason Webster, whom the Patriots placed on injured reserve yesterday.
