The Patriots are on the upper practice fields behind Gillette Stadium beginning their on-field preparations for Sunday's game with Seattle. The players were in shells (light pads) and shorts/sweatpants. There were five players not spotted during the media-access window: DE Ty Warren If Redd is injured (and we will find out if he is when the day's participation report comes out around 4 p.m.) that could help explain even further why New England needed to bring back Rosevelt Colvin. Colvin is wearing number 95 in his return, not the 59 he donned in his first four years with the Pats. Rookie Gary Guyton has that number now.
