| Pats-Seahawks pregame: Warren, Washington testing their legs »
Hey all -- Good morning (or afternoon) from Seattle and Qwest Field, where in true Seattle fashion, it is overcast and there's rain in the forecast. This is the first time New England is playing in the Emerald City since 1993, when the Seahawks played in the Kingdome and the Scott Secules-led Patriots (Drew Bledsoe was injured) dropped a 10-9 result. Things factor to be a bit different this time around, as Seattle will be without its starting quarterback, Matt Hasselbeck (back) and left tackle Walter Jones (knee), and the Seahawks have one of the worst defenses in the league. Currently on the field, Lonie Paxton is firing 30-yard snaps to assistant strength and conditioning coach Harold Nash, Mike Vrabel is doing a slow jog, and other Patriots players are just starting to filter onto the field for early warmup. We'll be back with more updates as kickoff approaches. shalise |
