Dom Capers, the veteran coach who spent last season as special assistant under Bill Belichick in New England, has accepted an offer to become defensive coordinator of the Green Bay Packers, according to a report in the Milwaukee Journal-Sentinel. Capers, who focused on the secondary last season in New England, is just the latest member of the Patriots' 2008 coaching staff who is leaving the team for larger responsibilities elsewhere, including former offensive coordinator Josh McDaniels (now head coach of the Denver Broncos) and special teams coach Brad Seely (now special teams coordinator and assistant head coach of the Cleveland Browns).
