A double standard on coverage of athletes linked to steroids?

Commenting on the news that Larry Izzo of the New England Patriots may testify at the Barry Bonds trial, Mike Florio of ProFootballTalk.com sees a double standard in coverage of baseball players who use steroids and football players who use steroids

Says Florio: ". . . While steroids use is a scarlet letter for guys who swing a stick, no such stigma applies to guys who put on pads.''

Not true Rodney harrison was suspended in 07 or 08 for using banned drugs. the NFL has a other drugs on there list not just steroids and its not football season I'm sure when the football season begins we will hear all about it.
