According to this article on the San Francisco Chronicle's website, Patriots' linebacker Larry Izzo is expected to testify in the trial of baseball star Barry Bonds, who is accused of lying to a federal grand jury about steroid use.

Izzo is the only NFL player named in court documents as a witness for the prosecution. Izzo is not expected to testify that he has knowledge of Bonds' steroid use; rather, he will say that he obtained steroids from Bonds trainer Greg Anderson and BALCO, the California steroids lab that has been under investigation for several years.
