The New England Patriots, joining a growing list of sports franchises, will not increase ticket prices for next season. Prices will remain frozen at last season's levels, which range from $49 for standing room to $169 for lower-level sideline.
Mike Reiss of The Boston Globe, who reported the news contained in a letter to season ticket holders from Robert and Jonathan Kraft, also notes that the Patriots plan to wear their throwback red-and-white Pat Patriot jerseys for two home games to mark the team's 50th season of football. Sounds like a great idea to me -- love those throwbacks.
