The Patriots have announced two more hires: Chad O'Shea as receivers coach and Jason Licht as director of pro personnel.

O'Shea arrives in New England from Minnesota, where he spent the last three years as offensive assistant/receivers coach for the Vikings. From 2003-05 he was a volunteer assistant and then assistant special teams coach with the Chiefs; prior to that, the 36-year old coached collegiately with Southern Mississippi and the University of Houston. O'Shea played quarterback at Marshall and Houston.

Playing with the Thundering Herd from 1991-92, O'Shea was a teammate of recently retired Patriot Troy Brown.

Licht (pronounced Light) rejoins the Patriots' front office staff after six years away. Last year, he was a personnel executive with the Cardinals; from 2003-07, he was with the Eagles, first spending two years as assistant director of pro personnel and the final two as vice president of player personnel.

Licht was a walk-on at Nebraska before becoming an all-conference defensive tackle at Nebraska-Wesleyan. He got his NFL start with Miami in 1995, and came to New England in 1999, spending four years with the club as a college scout, national scout and assistant director of player personnel.
