Long before we'd ever heard of Elizabeth Beisel, linebacker Monty Beisel (no relation) was missing tackles for the New England Patriots and screaming at Tom E. Curran, the former Journal beat man for the Patriots, for writing what fans could readily see -- Beisel wasn't very good.
