Journeyman defensive back Hank Poteat, who won a Super Bowl ring with the New England Patriots in 2005, has signed with the Cleveland Browns.

Poteat was released, re-signed, then released again by New England within a six-week span early in the 2006 season. The Browns are his fourth NFL team. He played for Cleveland head coach Eric Mangini in New England and with the Jets.
