Patriots Team of the '90s

FOXBORO -- Just back from Gillette Stadium, where I was one of the committe members who, as part of the Patriots' celebration of their 50th season, today selected all-decade teams for the 1970s, '80s, and '90s.

Here's the team of the '90s:

OFFENSE

T -- Bruce Armstrong, Pat Harlow
G -- Todd Rucci, Max Lane
C -- Dave Wohlabaugh
TE -- Ben Coates
QB -- Drew Bledsoe
RB -- Curtis Martin, Leonard Russell
WR -- Terry Glenn, Shawn Jefferson

DEFENSE

E -- Brent Williams, Willie McGinest
NT -- Tim Goad
OLB -- Andre Tippett, Chris Slade
ILB -- Vincent Brown, Ted Johnson
CB -- Maurice Hurst, Ty Law
S -- Lawyer Milloy Willie Clay

SPECIAL TEAMS

This might be just nit-picking, but if I recall, Lane was a tackle, not a guard. Also, I'm not really sure if Harlow should be on the list either. You can move Lane into Harlow's slot and then pick another guard, although not sure who, in the 90's o-lineman were recycled like crazy with Parcells. I do agree with the rest of the list, though. Well done.
