Longtime Pats' special teams stalwart and captain Larry Izzo has signed with the Jets, according to the Boston Herald's Karen Guregian.

Izzo moves to his third AFC East team, having started his career with the Dolphins before signing with New England eight years ago.

The 34-year old three-time Pro Bowler was an unrestricted free agent; he won the Patriots' Ron Burton Community Service Award last summer for his charity work, which centers primarily on American troops.
