Why do so many respected veterans choose to play in New England, often for less money than they could make for another team?

Matt Bowen, who played in the NFL for seven years and now is part of the media (and as a writer, not a talking head, fancy that!) penned a piece for the National Football Post website today breaking down why the Patriots are the team of choice for so many players.
