New England is selecting South Florida OLB Tyrone McKenzie with its final pick in the third round, a compensatory pick they could not trade. McKenzie finished his career with Bulls, but also played for Michigan State and Iowa State. The 6-1 1/2, 243 pounder was a first-team all-Big East pick, starting all 13 games at strong-side backer and leading the team with 116 tackles (76 solo). He added 15 tackles for loss. |
