Of possible concern for Jets fans expecting the kid from Southern Cal to take Gang Green to the Super Bowl for the first time in 40 years is that his toss to catcher Omir Santos was high, and well out of the strike zone. "I was told that, if I bounced it, I'd get booed out of here," Sanchez said. He received a warm ovation from the NY fans. Although that could change in a hurry if, come September, he isn't throwing the football more accurately than he did the baseball Monday night.
