ESPN's John Clayton is reporting this morning that the New England Patriots have reached a two-year agreement with former Chicago Bears safety Brandon McGowan, a University of Maine product who missed most of last season with an ankle injury. McGowan is a hard-hitting safety who had 68 tackles and two interceptions for the Bears in 2007. He made the Chicago roster as an undrafted rookie in 2005. |
