The Patriots have sent out an email announcing that a 9 a.m. conference call will be held tomorrow morning for Rodney Harrison; just moments ago, the Boston Globe's Christopher Gasper, citing a source, reported what has already been assumed for some time -- that Harrison will announce his retirement during that morning call.

It is expected that on a later call, at noon, NBC Sports chairman Dick Ebersol will announce Harrison as one of the network's new hires for its Sunday Night Football package.
