Almost every player in pro sports today will say at some point in his career that his team has "the best fans in the world." The NFL Network's Jamie Dukes set out to compare the fan bases of the 32 teams in the league, and voted the top five based on criteria like home-field advantage, fans traveling to see their team and souvenir sales. Dukes said the top four were easy, but the fifth team was a hard choice. He came up with the New England Patriots: "You go all across the country, all the New Englanders, they're starting to come out of the woodwork and show up." Dukes' top four: 4. Giants 3. Cowboys 2. Packers (a team that Dukes played for back in the day) 1. Steelers Disclaimer: Dukes thinks New Jersey is in New England. You can see the video on NFL.com. CommentsLeave a comment |
