While it probably won't affect listeners in Rhode Island -- the games should remain on WPRO-AM (630) and WEAN-FM (99.7) locally -- the Patriots are moving the flagship station on its radio network from WBCN-FM (104.1) to a new station, WBZ-FM (98.5). The Boston Phoenix reports that CBS Radio is eliminating WBCN-FM, moving Mix 98.5 to the 104.1 spot on the dial, and creating an all-sports station at 98.5 with the call letters WBZ-FM. The new WBZ-FM will broadcast the games of both the Patriots and the Bruins, who have been on WBZ-AM (1030). Click here for the full story. |
