The Patriots have signed sixth-round draft choice Jake Ingram today. The long snapper was drafted by the Patriots out of Hawaii with the first of their two sixth-round selections (198th overall). The Patriots also released defensive back Jamar Love. Ingram, 6-foot-3 and 235 pounds, began his college career as a walk-on defensive end in 2005 before making the move to a long snapper, where he quickly became the top snapper in the country. Love was signed by the Patriots as a rookie free agent out of Arkansas on April 30, 2009. CommentsLeave a comment |
