The Boston Globe's Chris Gasper reported today that the Patriots' first draft pick, safety Patrick Chung, reported for duty with the rest of the team's rookies today, which means that the 34th overall selection has signed his contract.

Veterans are to report on Wednesday, with training camp sessions getting underway Thursday at 9:30 a.m. Coaches checked in last Wednesday.
